War Gaming with "Toy Soldiers"
They're no longer just toys, the 54mm scale is now a
serious level for war gaming. These days, the figures have more variety,
are made of plastic relatively easy to work with and with today's molding technology are quite spectacular to
see on the war game table.
The buildings you see in the picture here were obtained at
Michaels and/or Hobby Lobby in the U.S. and are essentially meant to create a
Christmas Village, but they may also be tree ornaments. Either way, the
buildings are turning out to be quite excellent and inexpensive. Here is
roof art and note: set your color printer to print a little bit darker maybe 10%
based on your printer.

Swapping heads and manf. comparison:
BMC vs. the rest, means cost saving but some work in cleaning the
figs. Results are great though, and this video shows how to get
the rebel's to look more like rebel's by adding slouch hats from another
bag-o-troops. Results are quite impressive.
