to the paper after taping down the edges on a table. After putting down the clear liner if there's a gap between pieces just use clear shipping tape.
We suggest a minimum of 2-person operation to lay down the liner properly.
The coating allows the use of DRY ERASE MARKERS. VERY COOL!

Orientation of the Hexagon Grid
Hexagon grids can be produced either "Points UP" or Points Out. SPECIFY which you would like and remember that the paper is 12 feet long, so Points Up would have points pointing at the long sides of the paper; Points Out would have the flats of the hexagon being parallel with the long sides of the paper.

Outside the continental US shipping is $30 for each mailing tube up to 2 rolls, but check with your destination for the shipping weight of 5 pounds per tube at usps and when you are done with the calculations, adjust the shipping total accordingly in the checkout process.

About the Hexagon Paper

Numbering
There is NO numbering in the hexes or grids.

Paper Edge
The minimum size of white space around the outside of the paper is 1/4 inch. That area cannot be printed into.

Setup Charge
For special orders a set up charge may be required. Email with any questions.

Spray Coating
Paper is not water resistant, however, it can become more resistant after spraying with a water-based clear spray coating such as those made by 3M or other artists spray used to protect paper artwork. Use the typical precautions you would as if handling a large map and lightly spray from a distance in NO WIND CONDITIONS. Then gradually increase how close you apply the next spray coating after the first layer (s) has dried. You will have to experiment with the kind of spray coating to see which works best for you, so try it on a SMALL area of the paper and see how it takes to the paper in your atmospheric conditions, because spray coating can have different results based on temperature and humidity.

Colors and Line Thickness
The colors you see are representative of the kinds of colors possible; they are not exact and as you are looking at a light emitting device (e.g. your computer screen), the brightness on paper will be less glossy and more matte finish than what you see here, but the color shown is very close. However, the line thickness is not in the proportion shown; the lines are barely visible on the final product.

Matching Up Paper
DO NOT USE liquid glue if you are going to adhere the paper to a surface. Spray gluing and rubber cement of an entire sheet to a surface has not been tested. Use of tiny pea-size dots of Sticky-Tac putty does work, but there are various kinds and each has different results; one brand leaves a residue and the other is not that easy to remove again. Scotch or 3M also makes poster-tac which may also work.

We use JIT- Just in Time Printing, also known as "print on demand," meaning we have none or limited stock on hand. Expect at least 14 days for delivery. Once orders are received they cannot be cancelled or substituted.
