Excalibur Star Map Board game
The intention of using the Excalibur board game map as a space campaign is not to replicate the entire Excalibur game, only to use the design map as a foundation for a space campaign.
Where each player begins the campaign can be determined by randomly rolling the 40 properties available. Because of the complexity of the Excalibur space map it is recommended to assign each player only one property at first.
However it may be possible to fully replicate the actions of the Excalibur board game into the new Excalibur Campaign Star Map. Replicating the Lord and Knight supervision concept of visiting the manors to determine end of season income for the property will have to be tweaked. As well, the campaigning seasons concept will have to be tweaked and the placement of resource chits for River reeve, Forest reeve, Beehives, Stone Circle or Church, Reinforced Manor (our addition), etc.
