Hex Command Oceans is updated for 2025 and currently in beta testing. The control panel idea has been deemed far too time consuming and the rules are returning to their original simplistic/younger generation format. See the vehicle database ship examples.

While not all the ships possible are covered, in the HCO rules here is the paged describing the basic ship sizes. Nau, Galleas, Galley, and other ship types are not yet included. Plastic Models most available from Ebay and other vendors are:
