Summary of What You Need to Play Hex Command NOVA
Other than the rules:
You will need the following items:
Hex shaped laser cut wood pieces 1/8” thick for game markers Mech status etc. on table
Print and fold up onto cardstock the hex shaped holder for same, about 10 are needed all glued together in a nice pack on a cardstock base.
O rings of 12mm diameter, various colors but NOT colors that are too close in hue to each other;
Infantry squads about 12 per side, mounted 3 per base, clear laser cut bases 1/8” thick 1.5” diameter. Differentiating what the infantry are carrying is not necessary; the bases can be marked to show heavy, light, MG, AV etc.
Infantry mortars, about 4 per side with crews mounted same.
Artillery/ATGs 1 per base with crew, mounted to either 1.5” or 2” round clear laser cut. Modern infantry crews can be used.
Prime mover vehicles for same.
Bunker walls terrain
Gun Turrets terrain
2-4 Aircraft hotglued to 3D printed poles or poles made from sushi-roll dowel, drill hole into round discs (laser cut round 1.5”) then glued to same diameter metal washers for weight
2-4 AA Missiles on same mounting above.
Dice or dice app on phone (recommended download from iimm website)
Roster 4x6 index cards from iimm website
Scenario document from iimm website
BattleMechs 3D printed to 10mm scale (2 to 3 inches tall, 50-70mm) or mechs from CAV Talon.games
Sundry and infantry transport vehicles, hovercraft etc.

Hex shaped markers deprecated. Round is cheaper better especially when using 1.5 inch round product hang tags and the art we provided; print and stick on the hang tag then put the tag under the clear base to show status of a mech.
