The templates for the Cricut Maker machine are provided with square outlines around the art for positioning purposes on the platten (what they call the "mat"). Larger outlined art isfor "cut" at 11.5 x 11.5, smaller is "print n cut" 6.75 x 9.25.
Roads/rivers can be interchangable as they are both laid out for 2.5 inch hexes (flat to flat). Recolor the png files as you like but its not needed as the machine wont care about the color of the art: you will only be uploading it as a cut image for use with Foamies from a craft store. Note they are competing brands of foamie type thin foam and their colors are slightly different. When you find a color, but a large quantity of it like 10 sheets each.
