Canister doesn't just "disappear" beyond auto-hit range
Beyond the 4-hex auto hit range for canister, it actually can affect up to 2 more hexes but instead of being the double-hit or two red-hits caused, the damage is reduced by one incremental hit so the total damage to a unit would be 1 Red and 1 IH hit. However, items in cover would therefore diminish that further so the IH is lost as well.
