War of 1812 in Forum
Rather than create another category, I'll capture the creation of this era with 1/72 miniatures here, so stay tuned! (For brevity UK implies Canadian as well)
Notable features:
a. Existing US militia and Indians from AWI will be tapped for use for both US and UK forces. No basing changes.
b. Existing artillery cannons and French Crews will be tapped for US and UK artillery. No basing changes.
c. UK Artillery crews will be acquired.
d. UK infantry forces will be acquired as well as augmented US and UK Militia
e. Possibly two more Brig of War ships will be acquired.
f. Possibly use French Nap for US forces just be changing the flags; not sure.
g. Cavalry practically non-existant in this era, but Dragoons used for AWI U.S. may be utilized.
