Here however is the issue:
All infantry in the post horse & musket era are almost always prone; why would they NOT be.
So in truth, whenever infantry are fired upon UNLESS they are moved or marked to move even if they haven't yet moved, are -1 CP to hit.
Why would you NOT be prone? Because if you want this level of detail in the game, do it yourself: get up and down on the ground several times holding a 2x4 about 5 feet long. This represents the weight of the equipment you have on your body. Now, run with the 2x4 down the street and lay down. Get up. Do this several times and check your performance. Now do all this WITHOUT getting down on the ground several times, kneeling ok but not full on laying down. You will see the advantage of staying on your feet albeit not being a smaller target. Also, when laying down on the ground, you may not be able to react too fast to something going on around you. Food for thought.
So, if you want this level of detail: Prone units marked to move are +1 Fatigued, or Moving units that go prone then receive +1 Fatigued indicator.
