Tech Update: FlexiDice, FlashCardMachine Files
All, it should be noted that there are issues with certain cloud storage options and devices. The following notes should be observed:
Your Device Determines Your Cloud Options
SmartPhones for documents ONLY if no other option exists.
SmartPhones CAN be used for dice rolling and card drawing apps.
Tablet cameras vs. smartphone cameras.
1. Your Device Determines Your Cloud Options
This stems from the fact that Box.com may not have a desktop app for some versions of Android. This issue regards the use of Box, DropBox (compromised.. DO NOT USE), GoogleDrive and OneDrive and Bluetooth.
Box.com IS accessible from the app called ES File Explorer when you configure it for accessing a cloud storage location. So you DON'T need to have both Google Drive and Box.com.
2. SmartPhones for documents ONLY if no other option exists. This is why tablets were invented: to be able to view documents in a more natural size. Get Acrobat Reader for Android.
3. SmartPhones CAN be used for dice rolling and card drawing apps.
Several apps exist for dice rolling and card drawing and these apps are recommended for Hex Command. FlexiDice for dice rolling the CnC dice: https://app.box.com/s/lb0s9k90u5e0aaz7tvl53u00al5qcz7d
and Flash Card Machine for cards.

4. Tablet cameras vs. smartphone cameras.
It has been observed that tablet cameras may be great for outdoor or larger area photography but not so good for miniatures because many tablet camera apps lack the steady-cam stabilization that smartphone camera apps have. Thus, taking a picture with a tablet leads to bad photography vs. Smart Phones. Not recommended. IF however, you know of an app on a tablet that is as good as a smartphone camera app let me know. I have yet to find one.
